Sesame Chicken Recipe

3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
2 egg whites
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 1/2 pounds chicken breast, boneless, skinless & halved
salt & pepper to taste
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 green onions, thinly sliced
1 1/2 pounds broccoli florets, steamed until tender crisp (steam your own fresh broccoli or frozen Steam Fresh broccoli can be steamed in the microwave)

In a small bowl combine the honey, sesame seeds, soy sauce and garlic. Set the mixture aside.

In a large bowl whisk together the egg whites and cornstarch. Add the chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper. Toss to coat.

In a large skillet heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add half the chicken. Cook, turning occasionally, until the chicken is golden and cooked through, about 6 to 8 minutes. Transfer the chicken to a plate. Repeat with remaining oil and chicken. Place all of the cooked chicken back in the skillet, add the honey and soy sauce mixture and continue to cook on low heat, 1-2 minutes until the garlic is softened. Add the cooked broccoli and green onions and toss to coat.

Serve with brown rice.
