My kids love this recipe and it can be made quickly and easily.
2 lb. lean ground beef
Powdered garlic powder
1 can of corn
6 servings of mashed potatoes
Note: I admit I use "fake" potatoes for this but you can use real mashed potatoes. Great for using leftover potatoes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread the ground beef into a 9" x 9" baking dish and sprinkle generously with garlic powder. Bake until cooked through, about 15 - 20 mins.
Remove from the oven and carefully drain the grease. Drain the juice from the can of corn and pour on top of the hamburger. Spread the mashed potatoes on top of the corn.
Return to the oven for 15 mins. or until the potatoes start to brown. Let set for 5 mins. before serving. We never have leftovers when I serve this.
